Whats on my mind lately

When i was preparing for Easter this year, I went through my worship music collection and found a song that is beginning to become my new favorite.

Title: Wedding Day
Artist: Casting Crowns

There's a stirring in the throne room
And all creation holds it's breath
Waiting now to see the bridgegroom
Wondering how the bride will dress
And she wears white
And she knows that she's undeserving
She bears the shame of history
With this worn and weary maiden
Is not the bride that he sees
And she wears white head to toe
But only he can make it so

When someone dries your tears
When someone wins your heart and says your beautiful
When you don't know you are
And all you long to see
Is written on his face
Love has come and finally set you free
On that wedding day

On that wedding day

She has danced in golden castles
And she has crawled through beggar's dust
But today she stands before him
And she wears his righteousness
And she will be who he adores
And this is what he made her for

When the hand that bears the only scars
And heaven touch her face
And the last tears she'll ever cried
Are finally wiped away
And the clouds roll back as he takes her hand
And walks her through the gates
Forever we will reign

This song makes me think about catholic nuns who take their vows, or young women who wait on God and listen to his will over what they want. This is what I think of when I think of being completely devoted to God.

April- the month of everything beautiful

The past few weeks have been like a dream. Justin and I are in it for the long run. I imagine most people can figure out what that means. We're waiting to make announcements to his family so I can officially announce it.We have been playing World of Warcraft for almost 8 months now, and I love it because it is something that we can do together instead of me sitting bored watching him play on the PlayStation. I actually have gotten pretty far in the game, which increases my enjoyment of it.

I'm so happy because it is Good Friday today, and it still amazes me of the amount of people who will teach their children to hunt for eggs and eat candy, but cannot teach them the reason for the occasion, JESUS CHRIST OUR SAVIOR. It saddens me to think that some people do not know about God and the great sacrifice that he made for us on Good Friday. I pray that this Easter weekend more people come to know God and how he sent Jesus to pay for OUR sins. It truly amazes me how far I personally have come in my life, and to reflect and see everything that God has blessed me with. My earthly dad may not be there for me, but I have Jesus who is always there and will never forsake me.
